Pormenor Branco 2015 was produced with a blend of several typical grapes from Douro Region. Mainly Rabigato, Malvasia Fina and Códega do Larinho. 2015 was a good year for whites. Grapes from very old vines planted in altitude between 500m and 600m, in Carrazeda de Ansiães – Douro Superior. The grapes were harvest in late August in order to preserve the acidity, trying to achive a balanced wine. After a careful selection at the sorting table, the grapes ferment and age in stainless steel vats with the lees giving minimal intervention untill bottling in order to keep freshness and minerality, and a good mouthfeel which contrasts with a balanced acidity, typical characteristics from micaschist soils.

Light and clear color. Fresh aromas and discreet fruit with dominant minerality. Good mouthfeel – Salty, balanced and captivating acidity. A wine plenty of character, light, balanced and elegant, with notes of citrus. Round and fascinating final. Good with: grilled fish and seafood, white meats and pasta.
