Pormenor White 2013

A ripe, very seamless undertow of acidity carries a long finish.

Pormenor Colheita White 2013, was produced from a blend of several typical grapes varieties from Douro Region. Mainly Rabigato and Códega do Larinho. 2013 was a dificult year, the grapes from very old vines planted in altitude between 400m and 500m, in Carrazeda de Ansiães – Douro Superior, were picked in late August in order to preserve the acidity, resulting in a very balanced wine. This wine, was fermented and aged in stainless steel vats with the must and minimal intervention untill bottling in order to keep freshness and minerality, which contrasts with a high acidity, typical characteristics from mica schist soils.

Typical grapes from Douro, mainly Rabigato and Códega do Larinho.
