    Pormenor White 2016

    Vinification

Pormenor Branco 2016 was produced with a blend of several typical grapes from Douro Region. Mainly Rabigato, Malvasia Fina and Códega do Larinho. Grapes from old vines planted in altitude between 600m and 700m, in Carrazeda de Ansiães – Douro Superior. The grapes were harvest in late August in order to preserve the acidity, trying to achive a balanced wine. After a careful selection at the sorting table, the fermentation and ageing was in stainless steel vats with the small lees. Minimum intervention untill bottling in order to keep freshness and minerality, and a good mouthfeel which contrasts with a balanced acidity, typical characteristics from micaschist soils.
