The first annual event of the Alivetaste was held in 2016 at Pousada do Freixo. An unforgettable evening for all present. In 2017 it was repeated with more Chefs, wine producers, guests and social media.
The goal is to create a set of synergies between the various stakeholders – Chefs, producers, press and guests (opinion makers, entrepreneurs, managers and academics), who have common objectives: the pleasure of serving well, producing quality, informing and be well served.
In 2016 there were about 60 participants, by 2017 the number was around 150, with 13 of the best chefs and 25 excellent wine producers. The gardens on the banks of the River Douro will serve once more for the tastings created by the Chefs, to harmonize with diverse and unforgettable wines.
The pleasure of savoring what life has of the best, joining and enhancing the existing surprises, in unique moments and of relaxation in the late afternoon in one of the most charming places in the country.
